The Worcester GB162 commercial plate heat exchanger is sized for 641–800kW GB162 boiler installations, separating boiler water from the secondary heating circuit. This hydraulic separation allows GB162 boilers to be used on open-vented systems and can also protect the boiler heat exchanger from older or poor-quality secondary system water. The exchanger is sized on a 20°C boiler ΔT and 11°C system ΔT and remains compatible with the GB162 control range.
